School Counselor - Colmesneil, Texas

You'll provide counseling services to an assigned caseload of 18 students, beginning your meaningful work on August 17. Key Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas
• Experience working with youth in school or clinical settings preferred
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Compassionate, student-centered approach to counseling
• Ability to uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students in accordance with school protocols
• Develop and implement strategies that foster emotional, personal, and academic growth
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ holistic needs
• Maintain detailed, confidential records and complete documentation in a timely manner
• Address concerns such as social challenges, emotional well-being, and behavioral support
• Contribute to a safe and supportive school climate
