School Counselor - Conroe, Texas

Key Qualifications:

• Valid LPC license in Texas, OR Special Education Counseling Certification if LPC is not held
• Previous school counseling experience strongly preferred
• Comfort working across multiple campuses and adapting to varied caseloads
• Ability to support students at both the elementary and middle school level
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counseling to an assigned caseload, estimated at 30 students from multiple school campuses
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to best support students’ academic, personal, and social needs
• Assist with crisis intervention and prevention programs as needed
• Participate in the development and implementation of individualized plans to address student needs
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with district and legal guidelines
• Contribute to campus initiatives fostering a safe and supportive learning environment
