School Counselor in Conroe, TX

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a School Counselor in the Willis area. This flexible, part-time position involves collaborating closely with another counselor to serve a caseload of approximately 15 students across high school—and potentially elementary or middle school. Desired Qualifications:

• Active LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license in Texas OR Special Education Counselor certification if not LPC licensed
• School-based counseling experience preferred
• Strong communication and case management abilities
• Ability to establish rapport with students, parents, and staff
• Experience with diverse or high-needs student populations a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and small group counseling to students, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development
• Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and families to address student needs
• Maintain timely records, including progress notes and required documentation
• Participate in student support meetings and planning as appropriate
• Co-manage caseload and coordinate schedules with partnering counselor
• Adapt counseling strategies for age and developmental stage
