Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Hold a valid School Counselor License (SCL) or Preliminary School Counselor License (PSCL)
• Prior counseling experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
• Understanding of developmental, behavioral, and academic needs of K-12 students
• Strong communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to address students’ academic, social, and emotional needs
• Develop and implement programs on topics such as peer relationships, conflict resolution, and career exploration
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student development and classroom success
• Conduct risk assessments and provide crisis intervention as needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with district and state guidelines
