Key Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in School Counseling from an accredited institution
• Current, active School Counselor Certificate
• Preferred: At least three years of proven, effective teaching experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to fostering student growth and well-being

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to elementary students, addressing academic, career, and social-emotional needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop comprehensive support plans
• Facilitate programs supporting positive behavior, emotional regulation, and social skills
• Conduct assessments and help identify students requiring additional interventions or resources
• Maintain up-to-date and confidential student records in accordance with state and school policy
• Support the school’s mission by participating in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
