Make a meaningful impact supporting students across multiple campuses as a school counselor in a dynamic district-wide setting. This contract opportunity spans the academic year, with a potential start as early as the week of August 17 (or possibly September 7, pending budget approval) and concludes around the week of May 17, 2027. Sessions are thoughtfully scheduled on the same campus, reducing travel and allowing you to focus on student well-being.

As part of your role, you'll engage with students from elementary through secondary levels. Utilizing your expertise as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), you'll contribute to enriching educational experiences for students with diverse needs, including those with emotional disabilities, autism, intellectual disabilities, and more.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential
  • Proven counseling experience, preferably within K-12 educational settings
  • Direct experience supporting students with disabilities, including emotional, behavioral, and intellectual differences
  • Skill in developing rapport, conducting assessments, and creating effective intervention plans
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with both students and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling services on a district-wide basis while minimizing campus travel
  • Conduct assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to students' unique needs
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress notes in compliance with guidelines
  • Foster social, emotional, and academic growth for students across grade levels

This contract offers predictable daytime schedules—2 days per week, 8 hours per day—enabling you to balance professional growth with your personal commitments.
