In this contract position, you’ll play a vital role in fostering students' emotional and behavioral well-being throughout the full academic year—all on a part-time, flexible schedule of 10-15 hours per week. Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related mental health field (required)
• Active state licensure as a mental health professional (LPC, LMHC, LCSW, or equivalent)
• Previous experience working with school-age children or adolescents
• Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop rapport and trust with students, parents, and staff
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to help students navigate academic, social, and emotional challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions
• Conduct assessments to identify barriers to student success and recommend strategies for personal growth
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and progress notes in accordance with school policies and regulations
• Support a positive school climate by participating in community-building activities and wellness initiatives
• Respond appropriately to crisis situations or urgent mental health concerns as needed
