Make a lasting impact in a dynamic K-12 educational environment by providing specialized support as an onsite Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). This contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with students, school counselors, and educators, ensuring the well-being and health of learners throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid California LVN License is required
  • Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or similar setting is highly preferred
  • Skills in working with diverse student populations and supporting students one-on-one as needed
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary education teams, including counselors and instructional staff
  • Demonstrated reliability and adaptability within structured and changing school environments

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct care and nursing services to students according to individual care plans and school guidelines
  • Serve as part of the LVN pool, with potential for assignment to 1:1 student caseloads
  • Provide health-related support, administer medications, perform medical procedures, and respond to health emergencies on campus
  • Assist counselors and school staff in fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all students
  • Maintain accurate health records and comply with confidentiality and regulatory standards
  • Participate in ongoing communication with teachers, families, and school administrators
  • Work scheduled hours of 32.5 per week during the regular school year (with optional additional hours during ESY if desired)
