This engaging position involves travel between four elementary schools, with dedicated time spent at each site. You’ll play an essential role by providing both responsive and rehabilitative services that enable students to fully participate in all aspects of school life.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in School Counseling, School Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field
- Substantial experience in school counseling or as a mental health clinician in educational settings
- Valid or eligible New Hampshire certification for School Counselor (0040), School Psychologist (0046), Associate School Psychologist (0047), or School Social Worker (0049)
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver meaningful support to elementary students as they navigate personal, social, and academic challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement interventions, action plans, and referrals as needed
- Manage a flexible caseload, rotating between Franklin, Wheelock, Symonds, and Fuller elementary schools
- Maintain thorough records and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to ensure comprehensive student care
- Promote a culture of wellbeing for all students, ensuring access to the curriculum and all aspects of school life
