Key Qualifications:

  • Valid school counselor certification or relevant clinical counseling credentials
  • Proven experience in providing virtual counseling services, especially in educational settings
  • Familiarity with the unique needs of upper elementary students
  • Strong communication skills and comfort with remote platforms
  • Ability to collaborate with school staff and families
  • Adaptable to schedule changes and student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one hour per week of direct virtual counseling to a 5th-grade male student
  • Provide additional indirect support and consultation as required
  • Coordinate session times to ensure a flexible approach accommodating the student’s schedule and related services
  • Document progress and engage in briefings or updates for school contacts if requested
  • Cultivate a trusting and supportive counseling relationship to help the student navigate this transitional period
