Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Colorado School Counseling license
• Experience working with middle and high school students preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Capability to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, families, and support staff
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
• Background in group facilitation and problem-solving with adolescents

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group counseling to address personal, social, emotional, and academic needs
• Assist students in developing coping strategies and effective problem-solving skills
• Collaborate with the SPED team and participate in meetings regarding student needs and academic planning
• Help students meet graduation requirements through academic planning and goal setting
• Serve as a resource to teachers, families, and administration for student social-emotional support
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with policy and guidelines
