This onsite position offers a unique opportunity to work within an LVN pool, providing direct care and support to students, including one-on-one assignments as needed.
Key Qualifications:
- Active California LVN license is required
- Experience in a school or pediatric environment is strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary setting
- Flexible, resourceful, and skilled at adapting to dynamic caseloads
- Strong communication and organizational skills
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care within the LVN Pool, responding promptly to students’ health needs
- Support students with chronic conditions and acute care requirements
- Provide attentive 1:1 care when assigned, ensuring individual student safety and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate health records and collaborate with counselors and school personnel
- Communicate health updates and needs to families and staff
- Participate in staff meetings and trainings as requested
Role Details:
- Full contract dates: August 10, 2026 – August 6, 2027
- 32.5 hours per week during the regular school year; for ESY, hours are optional and require sign-up
- Onsite presence required—all care delivered in person
- Caseloads may shift between the pool and individual assignments based on student need
