School Counselor - Page, AZ

An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Counselor to support students in a contract position at an Outdoor Academy near scenic Page, AZ. This full-time role (1.0 FTE) is ideally suited for someone passionate about guiding students’ growth and well-being in a unique, outdoor-focused educational environment.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification or license to practice as a School Counselor
• Previous experience in school counseling, preferably with middle or high school students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative approach to working with students, families, and educational staff
• Flexibility to provide effective support in both onsite and virtual (voco) settings if needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group counseling services to support students’ academic, social, and emotional needs
• Assist students with problem-solving, conflict resolution, and goal setting
• Work closely with educators and administration to create a positive school culture
• Participate in developing and implementing intervention strategies and IEPs as needed
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to ethical guidelines and compliance standards
• Engage in regular communication with caregivers and community resources
