This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and offers a full-time, 40-hour workweek with an end date to be determined.

As a K-5 School Counselor in this dynamic environment, you'll collaborate with educators and families to empower students and create a positive school climate. Your expertise will help young learners navigate academics, social-emotional development, and personal challenges.

Key Qualities & Credentials:

• Valid PA School Counselor K-12 License (active and listed on TIMS)
• Ability to obtain all required Pennsylvania Clearances prior to start
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Exceptional communication, empathy, and organizational skills
• Ability to foster trust and rapport with diverse student populations
• Adaptable mindset to support children, staff, and school community

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counseling services to K-5 students
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to identify student needs
• Assist in crisis intervention and help resolve conflicts among students
• Support the implementation of social-emotional learning programs
• Maintain accurate records adhering to confidentiality protocols
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
