Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Valid Texas teaching certification with special education (SPED) endorsements.
  • Relevant experience in special education, social work, counseling, behavior analysis, or a related setting.
  • Preferred backgrounds include school counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), psychology, or social work.
  • Proven skills in developing and supporting Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
  • Previous experience participating in ARD, IEP, RtI, and 504 meetings is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans for students.
  • Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments to identify student needs and inform interventions.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff at ARD, IEP, RtI, and 504 meetings, ensuring behavioral strategies align with overall educational goals.
  • Provide hands-on support to classrooms, offering direct assistance during crisis intervention situations.
  • Guide and mentor staff on best practices for behavioral support and intervention.

This opportunity offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with pay starting at $30+ per hour, commensurate with your experience.
