You’ll work closely with an 18-student caseload, providing guidance, support, and intervention as needed. With a start date of August 17th, you’ll play a key role in helping students navigate challenges both in and out of the classroom setting. Qualifications:
- Current, active LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license for Texas
- Proven experience or interest in working with school-aged youth
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with students
- Capable of maintaining detailed records with discretion and confidentiality
- Analytical problem-solving skills and a compassionate attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling for social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop interventions
- Conduct individual and small group sessions according to student needs
- Assist in the creation of individualized support plans
- Maintain up-to-date documentation consistent with ethical and legal standards
