This engaging role spans four elementary campuses, providing crucial services to children and families to promote greater access to academics and school life. As an integral part of the educational teams, you'll collaborate closely with staff while delivering responsive and rehabilitative counseling across Franklin, Wheelock, Symonds, and Fuller Schools.

Position Details:

• Contract duration: August 26, 2026 – June 15, 2027
• Full-time: 35 hours weekly, divided across multiple elementary schools

Desired Background & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a related field (School Counseling, School Social Work, School Psychology, or Mental Health)
• Substantial school-based counseling experience
• Eligible for or holding NH certification(s):
  • School Counselor (NH 0040)
  • School Psychologist (NH 0046)
  • Associate School Psychologist (NH 0047)
  • School Social Worker (NH 0049)
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, effective communicator with students, families, and school teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver both preventative and responsive counseling to elementary-aged children and their families
• Participate in multi-disciplinary educational teams, supporting students across Franklin (20%), Wheelock (20%), Symonds (30%), and Fuller (30%) schools
• Engage in the coordination of services, interventions, and referrals as needed to optimize student success and wellness
• Maintain confidential records, assist with crisis intervention, and support school-wide social-emotional programming
