Working with both middle and high school students, you'll empower young people to navigate personal, academic, and social challenges while helping them prepare for a successful future.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Colorado School Counseling License is required
• Experience working as a School Counselor, ideally within middle and high school settings
• Strong skills in providing individual and group counseling
• Compassionate approach with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Comfortable collaborating within multidisciplinary teams, including SPED
• Able to effectively support students in goal-setting, decision-making, and coping skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Offer direct individual and group counseling to address students' emotional, academic, social, and personal needs
• Guide students in developing strategies for problem-solving, coping, and meeting graduation requirements through thoughtful academic planning
• Collaborate with educational staff, families, and the SPED team to ensure students receive comprehensive support
• Participate in meetings and planning sessions to tailor counseling programs to student needs
• Document student interactions, maintain confidentiality, and uphold ethical practices in all areas of student support
