This assignment, running from 8/10/26 to 5/24/27, serves PreK-12th grade students in a manageable caseload of 8. What You’ll Need:

  • Certification or licensure to teach Deaf/Hard of Hearing students (state requirements apply)
  • Experience with PreK–12th grade, preferably in a school environment
  • Skills in IEP facilitation, auditory/oral methods, and ASL (preferred)
  • Adaptable and collaborative approach
  • Commitment to empowering students of varying ages and needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction and support to a caseload of 8 Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
  • Foster a communicative, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
  • Track student progress and maintain documentation
