Desired Qualifications:

• Active certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
• Experience working with high school students is highly valued
• Proficiency delivering virtual instruction and familiarity with online education platforms
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educational staff and families
• Adaptable, organized, and able to tailor strategies to individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct services tailored to one high school student who is Deaf/Hard of Hearing
• Create and implement Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals and accommodations in a virtual setting
• Collaborate with the student’s educational team, including teachers and support staff
• Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Advocate for accessibility and support within the student’s learning environment
• Document services accurately in accordance with school requirements
