Position highlights include a 37.5-hour work week and a family-friendly schedule–enjoy a four-day work week during the summer, with Fridays off to enhance your work-life balance. The role begins July 7, 2026, with daily hours from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current Massachusetts DESE certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH)
  • Alternatively, a Special Education certification with demonstrated experience as a Teacher of the Deaf
  • Prior experience working with Deaf/Hard of Hearing students strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to supporting diverse learning needs and fostering an inclusive, engaging classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver individualized instruction for a small group of Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
  • Collaborate with speech therapists, audiologists, and other educators
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Foster an encouraging and accessible learning environment
  • Guide students’ academic and personal growth throughout the school year
