Enjoy a unique summer arrangement—work just four days each week and take Fridays off! Your day will begin at 7:45 am and wrap up by 3:15 pm, offering structure and predictability. The classroom caseload is manageable, with five students to foster strong connections and deliver individualized support. Your expertise will empower students, foster communication, and help them achieve their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Active MA DHH (DESE) certification required (consideration for candidates with special education certification plus significant Teacher of the Deaf experience)
• Experience as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing in a classroom setting
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
• Dedication to supporting diverse learners and advocating for inclusive practices

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to adapt curriculum and strategies
• Communicate regularly with families and caregivers to share progress and strategies
• Utilize assistive listening devices and technology to enhance learning
