Your expertise as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist or Teacher will be highly valued as you collaborate with other educational professionals and families to help each student reach their highest potential. The assignment begins on August 10, 2026, and continues through May 24, 2027, offering between 30 to 40 hours per week and the unique opportunity to make a real difference.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Certification as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teacher or Specialist
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Ability to teach across PreK–12 grade levels
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is a significant plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in diverse learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support services tailored to each student’s needs
