A rewarding opportunity awaits for a skilled Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Specialist to provide dedicated support to students in a contract setting beginning August 2026. This assignment spans the full academic year, concluding in May 2027, and offers a flexible workweek of 30 to 40 hours. The position services a diverse caseload of eight students across PreK-12th grade.

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- Knowledge of auditory communication modes (such as ASL, Total Communication, oral approaches)
- Previous experience working with PreK-12 students in a school-based setting
- Strong collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and students
- Ability to craft individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt curriculum
- Passion for advocacy and inclusion of students with hearing differences
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support tailored to individual student needs
- Assess, plan, and monitor progress for a caseload of 8 students
- Provide consultation and training to school staff and families
