Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction using evidence-based strategies for D/HH learners.
  • Adapt curriculum materials and classroom environments to optimize access for students with hearing loss.
  • Work closely with classroom teachers to ensure accommodations and modifications are in place.
  • Facilitate communication between students, staff, and families, promoting inclusion and understanding.
  • Provide training and resources to staff and families on D/HH student support and advocacy.
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and necessary documentation.
