• Comfortable collaborating with general education teachers, families, and related service providers
• Competence in American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication modalities for DHH students
• Ability to assess student needs and develop differentiated lesson plans
• Strong communication and advocacy skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction to DHH students in one-on-one and small group settings
• Develop and implement IEPs and monitor student progress
• Provide consultative support to classroom teachers, ensuring accommodations and accessibility
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Serve as a resource for families, helping navigate learning supports and available services
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, evaluations, and school-wide initiatives
