Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching certification with Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) endorsement
- Prior experience as a DHH Specialist or Teacher preferred
- Strong ability to assess and adapt materials for students with hearing loss
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting inclusive, accessible learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide itinerant services for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students across multiple school sites
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify curriculum and classroom strategies
- Conduct assessments and help develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Engage families in the educational process and serve as an advocate for student needs
- Deliver direct instruction and consultative support to promote student success
