Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education, ASL, or related field.
• Proven expertise in American Sign Language and experience teaching ASL to children, preferably at the elementary level.
• Knowledge of best practices for instructing and supporting Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in an educational setting.
• Strong collaboration skills for working with general education teachers, families, and support staff.

• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation is a plus.
