As a key educational partner, you’ll work during the regular school year and extended school year (ESY), directly supporting students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. This role is designed for those passionate about advocacy, innovation, and promoting an inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Specialist or Teacher
- Experience in schools or educational settings preferred
- Ability to provide both direct and consultative services
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver 100 minutes per week of direct instruction and 180 minutes per month of consultative support during the school year
- Provide Hearing Itinerant Services during ESY (June 15 – July 24, 2026; Monday–Friday): 100 minutes per week direct, 75 minutes per month consult
- Collaborate with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create accessible educational experiences
- Foster student growth, advocacy, and self-empowerment
