Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Fluency and proficiency in sign language interpreting within educational settings
• Certification (such as EIPA, RID, or comparable credentials) preferred
• Experience working with children who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have hearing impairments
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and staff
• Commitment to confidentiality and promoting a positive, accessible classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret classroom instructions, activities, and discussions in real-time between students and staff
• Adapt interpretation methods for various age groups and learning levels
• Assist with communication during school events, meetings, and assemblies
