Key Qualifications:

  • Experience or certification as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teacher or Specialist
  • Solid understanding of instructional techniques for students with hearing loss
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other relevant communication methods
  • Ability to design individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with parents, staff, and administrators

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing within the school setting
