• Valid state certification as a Teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing or comparable specialist credential

• Strong knowledge of assistive technology, instructional strategies, and current best practices
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other relevant communication modes
• Ability to conduct individualized assessments and develop effective IEP goals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
