Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teacher or Specialist
• Experience working with Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in school settings, preferably at the high school level
• Strong skills in virtual instruction and familiarity with related software/platforms
• Ability to develop and adapt educational materials for individual learner needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, individualized instruction and support to the student in accordance with their education plan
• Adapt curriculum, assignments, and teaching strategies to meet the student's unique needs
• Collaborate virtually with teachers, school staff, and family members to monitor and report on student progress
• Foster a positive, supportive learning environment aiding the student’s academic achievement and independence
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress documentation
