In this contracted role, you will work virtually for 20 hours per week, partnering with educators and families to ensure every student receives tailored, effective support. What we’re seeking:

  • Wisconsin licensure as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teacher or Specialist
  • Experience working within Wisconsin schools and strong knowledge of state-specific regulations and processes
  • Background in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) within virtual learning platforms
  • Ability to provide both direct instruction and consultative services to meet IEP requirements
  • Comfort collecting, analyzing, and documenting progress data to measure student growth
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating during virtual IEP meetings and with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Thorough understanding of IDEA compliance and best practices
  • Tech-savviness and capability to adapt materials for virtual engagement

Your key responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and monitor IEPs adapted for virtual settings, ensuring all accommodations and modifications are met
  • Provide individualized instruction to students, both one-on-one and in small groups, as specified in each IEP
  • Collaborate regularly with classroom teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student success
  • Document student progress meticulously, submitting data as required to maintain compliance
  • Participate actively in virtual IEP meetings, ensuring clear communication and advocacy for student needs
