Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Credentialed as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist or Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
• Experience with educational accommodations, audiology, and language development
• Effective communication skills, both spoken and signed
• Familiarity with classroom technology for accessibility
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for empowering students with diverse communication needs

In this role, you will:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress
• Collaborate with educators, speech-language pathologists, and other specialists
• Educate and advise teachers and parents on best practices for inclusion
• Advocate for student needs and facilitate their active participation in school life
• Adapt curriculum and classroom materials to optimize access for all learners
