Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Certification or eligibility as an Educational Diagnostician
• Fluency in both English and Spanish
• Experience working with elementary-aged students is preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with special education compliance and evaluation processes
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and diverse populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ educational needs
• Interpret evaluation results and present recommendations to IEP teams
• Develop, monitor, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support instructional staff with strategies and interventions tailored to each student
• Collaborate closely with families to explain procedures, findings, and next steps
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential student records as required by state and federal guidelines
