Key Qualifications:

  • Certification as an Educational Diagnostician
  • Bilingual proficiency is required
  • Previous experience with PK-8th grade students preferred
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 100 students
  • Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
  • Familiarity with assessments and eligibility determinations for special education services

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive educational assessments in both English and another language as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop effective educational plans
  • Prepare and present detailed diagnostic reports and recommendations
  • Guide the Response to Intervention (RTI) process and participate in ARD/IEP meetings
  • Support compliance with all federal, state, and local special education regulations
  • Move between campuses as assigned to support the needs of students across various grade levels
  • Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality for all cases
