Educational Diagnostician Special Education Teacher in Arlington, TX

Step into a pivotal role supporting middle and high school students in a vibrant educational setting near Arlington, TX. We're seeking an experienced Educational Diagnostician to provide critical assessment and specialized services on a full-time contract basis from now through early June 2027. This onsite position offers the opportunity to work across two school campuses, engaging with a diverse caseload and positively impacting student outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

• Texas Educator Certificate (valid and current)
• At least three years of creditable classroom teaching experience
• Master’s degree from an accredited institution
• Educational Diagnostician certification by the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC)
• Expertise in conducting educational assessments and writing comprehensive reports
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a dynamic caseload

What You’ll Do:

• Assess students for eligibility for special education services, including initial and re-evaluations (serving a caseload of approximately 100–120 students)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Split time between a middle school caseload and potential high school assignments as needed
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with all federal and state regulations
• Serve as a resource for best practices in educational interventions and services
