Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician in Texas
• Previous experience with middle school populations (grades 5-8) preferred
• Strong understanding of ARD/IEP processes and eligibility criteria
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive student evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to interpret evaluation results and determine eligibility for special education services
• Develop legally compliant written reports and recommendations
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and provide guidance on instructional strategies or accommodations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per district and state requirements
• Offer consultation and support to staff regarding instructional interventions and assessment best practices
