Educational Diagnostician Special Education Teacher in Arlington, TX

Key Qualifications and Experience

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Previous experience assessing and supporting elementary-age students
• Familiarity conducting evaluations for learning differences and special education eligibility

Core Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret educational and cognitive assessments for elementary students
• Support the identification and eligibility process for special education services
• Work in partnership with the school psychologist to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide recommendations for instructional strategies and classroom accommodations
• Communicate findings and plans to teachers, parents, and school teams
• Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Offer ongoing consultation to staff for students’ academic and behavioral success
