Diagnostician Special Education Teacher | Arlington, Texas

This contract opportunity involves serving students across grades 6-12 near Arlington, TX. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish and eager to conduct educational evaluations at multiple school sites, ensuring that every student’s unique needs are identified and supported.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician in Texas
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required
• Previous experience working with students in 6th through 12th grade
• Strong understanding of assessment tools and processes for special education eligibility
• Preferred experience using Frontline eSped for documentation and reporting
• Prior work in charter schools or smaller school districts within Texas is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations, including Spanish-language assessments as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to gather comprehensive student data
• Travel to additional school locations to support Spanish evaluations within the district
• Contribute to Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team meetings and develop detailed assessment reports
• Stay current with state and federal special education regulations
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with Texas requirements

This is a full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week position. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring that multilingual students receive high-quality, equitable support. Interview slots are available this week: Thursday from 8:00-11:30am or 3:30-4:30pm (CST), and Friday from 9:30-11:30am (CST).
