Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid Educational Diagnostician certification recognized by the state of Texas
• Experience working with elementary-age children in a school setting
• Strong understanding of assessment tools (cognitive, academic, behavioral)
• Ability to interpret, analyze, and synthesize evaluation results for educational planning
• Skilled in effective communication with students, teachers, and families
• Knowledge of federal and state special education laws and best practices
• Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
• Write detailed evaluation reports and share findings with IEP teams and parents
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to determine eligibility and develop appropriate educational interventions
• Provide consultation to teachers and staff regarding instructional strategies and accommodations
• Maintain compliance with state and federal timelines for evaluations and documentation
• Support positive outcomes for students by tailoring recommendations to meet diverse needs
