Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certification as an Educational Diagnostician
  • Familiarity with conducting educational assessments and interpreting results
  • Experience working with students in elementary and middle school grades (1st–9th)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, support staff, and parents
  • In-depth understanding of educational interventions, Section 504, and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer a variety of formal and informal assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas of need
  • Work alongside classroom teachers from 1st to 9th grade to develop and implement intervention strategies
  • Prepare detailed evaluation reports and participate in eligibility meetings
  • Consult with parents and educators to interpret data and provide recommendations for instruction and accommodations
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines regarding special education services
  • Provide ongoing support and professional guidance to educational staff across grade levels
