Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Educational Diagnostician certification
- Experience conducting assessments and interpreting evaluation results
- Proficiency collaborating with teachers, parents, and related service providers
- Strong understanding of special education laws and processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to work across multiple grade levels (1st-9th)
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform educational assessments to identify student learning needs and eligibility for special education services
- Prepare and present formal evaluation reports
- Develop recommendations for instructional strategies and accommodations
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings to collaborate on individualized education plans
- Communicate evaluation findings and recommendations to staff and families
- Support data-driven decision-making and progress monitoring for student success
