Make an impact as a full-time Educational Diagnostician supporting students in grades PK–5! This dynamic contract opportunity offers the chance to work collaboratively to ensure every child receives the specialized support they need to succeed.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Educational Diagnostician certification
  • Demonstrated experience working with children aged PK–5
  • Strong background in educational assessments and special education testing procedures
  • Familiarity with ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) processes and facilitation
  • Skilled communicator, comfortable leading meetings and documenting reports
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced educational setting

Major Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive educational and psychological assessments for a caseload of approximately 100 elementary students
  • Interpret data and prepare thorough evaluation reports
  • Facilitate and participate actively in ARD meetings, providing expertise in eligibility and student placement decisions
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Support compliance with state and federal special education requirements
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records
  • Provide consultative support to staff and parents regarding students’ learning needs
