Educational Diagnostician Special Education Teacher in Bridgeport, TX

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Demonstrated expertise assessing and supporting students with diverse educational needs
• Strong knowledge of state and federal guidelines for special education evaluation and eligibility
• Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly at the intermediate level, is highly valued
• Ability to manage a sizable caseload efficiently and effectively (anticipated at approximately 90 students)
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations to identify students’ strengths and needs
• Prepare detailed, compliant evaluation reports and participate in eligibility determination meetings
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide consultation and support regarding appropriate instructional strategies and interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Contribute to a positive school culture, advocating for student success
