Diagnostician Special Education Teacher - Burleson, Texas

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in a related field
• Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
• State certification exam for educational diagnosticians (must be passed)
• At least three full years of classroom teaching experience
• Previous school-based experience as an educational diagnostician
• Fluency in both Spanish and English
• Successful completion of fingerprinting and time-sensitive credentialing

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students’ educational needs
• Prepare detailed, professional reports outlining findings and recommendations
• Participate actively in ARD meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Travel between two schools within the district in an itinerant capacity
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with students, teachers, and families
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines for special education
