Educational Diagnostician Special Education Teacher - Burleson, TX

Seeking skilled and passionate educational diagnosticians for a full-time contract position supporting students in a dynamic school district in the Burleson/Fort Worth area. This role involves working on-site between two campuses, providing crucial assessments and services to improve learning outcomes. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and extends through the end of the school year in May 2027.

Your expertise will help guide educational strategies and ensure students receive the support they need. You’ll work a consistent weekday schedule (35 hours per week) engaging directly with school staff, families, and students.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree required
• Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
• Minimum of three years full-time classroom teaching experience
• Successful completion of the state certification exam for educational diagnosticians
• Previous school-based experience as an educational diagnostician
• Ability to complete fingerprinting and any time-sensitive credentialing
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to on-site work (not a remote or VOCO opportunity)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct educational evaluations and testing for referred students
• Prepare clear, comprehensive reports and participate actively in IEP/ARD meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to implement education plans
• Travel between two assigned campuses as an itinerant team member
• Serve elementary through high school age groups, tailoring support based on evaluation findings
