Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Texas Educational Diagnostician certification (required)
• Previous experience working as an Educational Diagnostician in schools preferred
• Proficiency in conducting formal and informal educational assessments
• Deep knowledge of special education eligibility criteria and compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, equitable learning environments

Role & Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret a range of educational and cognitive assessments for elementary students
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to develop effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Document and report evaluation results clearly, meeting required timelines and state standards
• Support the Response to Intervention (RTI) process, providing expertise in data collection and problem-solving
• Offer consultative support to staff regarding differentiated instruction, accommodations, and interventions
• Ensure strict adherence to legal, ethical, and professional best practices in student assessment and confidentiality
