Educational Diagnostician Special Education Teacher - Cypress, TX

Step into a dynamic school-based role supporting students with a variety of assessment needs through flexible contract opportunities for Educational Diagnosticians. This onsite position offers a unique chance to make a substantial impact while collaborating within multidisciplinary teams. Available Positions:

• Campus Diagnostician: Openings in both Elementary and Middle school settings, focusing on comprehensive educational testing, classroom observations, active participation in ARDs, and consultation with staff.
• Evaluation Specialist: Targeted evaluation-only roles housed at the Special Education Building, providing district-wide assessments across all grade levels.
• Play-Based Assessment Diagnostician: Conduct assessments for ECI students aged 2–3 in a collaborative, team-based setting alongside psychology, speech, and OT professionals. Structured schedule includes testing three days per week and dedicating two days to report writing.

What you’ll need to bring:

• Current Educational Diagnostician endorsement valid in Texas (verification required).
• Strong background in administration and interpretation of student evaluations.
• Experience collaborating in ARD meetings and with interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated skill in report writing, student observation, and data-driven recommendations.
• Preference for working onsite and adaptability between different school levels or settings.
