This full-time position, based on campuses near Dallas, TX, runs through May 21, 2027, and involves working closely with diverse learners and educational staff. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish and is eager to provide pivotal assessment and intervention services in a school environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive educational assessments for students in grades PK-8
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention and support strategies
- Interpreting assessment data and preparing individualized recommendations for instruction and support
- Participating in ARD/IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Managing a caseload typically around 100 students, ensuring timely and ethical service delivery
- Providing culturally sensitive services and communication to bilingual students and families
- Staying current with best practices and legal requirements in special education assessment
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- State certification as an Educational Diagnostician
- Demonstrated expertise in the administration and interpretation of a range of educational and psychological assessments
- Proven track record with PK-8 student populations
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Mandatory bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
